|This hotel is named after its most illustrious owner Cardinal Giuliano della Rovere, who later became Pope Giulio II, patron of artists of the calibre of Michelangelo and Raffaello.
The building is the result of the careful restoration of an 11th century Benedictine Abbey and of the renaissance Villa commissioned by Giuliano della Rovere in 1470.
